MAn I suck at all of those Only one i am not bad at is mspacman. But not as good as another guy i new when i was younger he would play and play and play maybe 3 or 4 hours it funny because at one point the dam pelletes are always red and the dam power ball does not last. He would even play with out looking would have a smoke or a coffee at the same time. was pretty sweet but guy said he had found pattern thus the reason he could play for so long
Life is like Pinball!! You never know where you will bounce or where your going but sometimes you have that one amazing shot But on the other hand you have those darn gutter ball where you just get frustrated.
I just try to find a good player to one of those video games to play together sometimes. I like to watch good players, but they are very rare today, almost impossible to find here in Montreal. The last good player i saw was at Ms Pac-Man in 1994. He score around 235.000. He was very happy to meet me because he want to learn how to master this game. I also want to master some video games like Tempest and Stargate.
If you can achieve one of those score i want to meet you or if you only want to play with me for fun let me know !!
Tempest: If you reach level 64 or more- i can reach level 51 for now Stargate: More than 500.000- i score around 150.000 Gravitar: If you reach the invisible negative gravity universe- i reach the invisible positive gravity universe Robotron: If you marathon this game at normal level- i marathon it and would like to find a very good player to play a two player game Donkey Kong: Score 350.000 or more - i make 185.000 Ms Pac-Man: Score over 300.000 - i score 575.000
I really want to play on a real nice Donkey Kong, if you have one, let me know if you are interested to let me play at it !!
Well... I don't master vids... but I do pretty well at pins... When I was younger, I did roll over scores on pins regularly... even the seven-digit pins like Flash Gordon and Xenon...
Stargate 500,000 no. But 250,000 fairly regularly on default settings and two credit play. 500,000 I believe could be obtainable on liberal settings. If you can achieve 500,000 on this game I believe you would be able to roll it over because your attrition rate would be less than your bonus ship rate and you would have fully obtained stability above the maximum level 13 difficulty liberal provides. I am only working with default settings on Stargate for consistancy and that ramps up to a theoretical max difficulty of 30 vs. 13. At a point around wave 20 the my attrition out distances my bonus men and the game winds down through running out of men and despiration kicking in therefore using up smart bombs and inviso resources again faster then gains. I don't think it is impossible to roll on this setting. I just think I have to re-strategize my approach to certain enemies and priority of effort. Some more trial and error and I should be able to push a bit further. What a fantastic game.
I just finished the repair on the battery holder on my Stargate so now I have something to shoot for since it will now retain highscore.
I was able to roll Defender once this level of gameplay was obtained. You arrive at a level of proficency where you could gain more then losing ships. Also on Defender as you neared 1,000,000. Everything you killed gave you a free ship. After rolling it ceased giving ships I believe until about 200,000 again (it's been years so bear with me that number is probably not quite accurate). To obtain high score you had to strategically ram ships into various enemies to obtain a sum of 999,950. Then blow off the remaining ships using hyperspace and hope for no inadvertent collisions that would put you over the top.
Hey HAL I have a crazy (or mabey not so crazy) idea that would be cool for reviewing gameplay over the net. It would be great if there was some way to capture the video feed directly off of video games and convert them to a video file format for review. This would allow us vid nuts to learn, compare, compete and even verify high scoring through the internet. An adapter/converter of sorts.
