See that's the difference, I don't see the downgrades as that big a deal.
Are the plastic aprons and pegs cheaper and a little harder to work with, yes. does it affect playability of the machine, nope.
Will this new lockdown bar maybe be a little more annoying to get on or off, sure. But it's not going to affect the way the game plays, No.
As long as the game is fun and enjoyable to play, who cares. As soon as the downgrades being to affect playability I'll be the first on one the bandwagon saying that Stern is taking these cost cutting measures too far.
Otherwise just play the games and enjoy them, end of the day it's better then nothing which is what the alternative is currently.
or if you think Stern is so cheap, here is your alternative game choice....
It's not like you own one or plan on buying one and are going to have to deal with said cost cutting measures, your just bitching to hear yourself b****.
Who says I'm not going to buy one? Your just arguing for the sake of trying to win an argument. I have owned 10 pins so far, and probably will own a Stern sooner than later. I almost pulled the trigger on a NIB LOTR a couple months back, and may buy a TSPP as well
I'm not a hater, just stating that I don't like the idea of a cheapened product.
If I could buy a Ferrari with heated leather seats or with formed plastic seats, for the same price? Which would I want?

I would really rather not, get all hyped up about this. I like to keep things positive, I just stated my opinion that I don't like the "idea" of a cheapened product, even if it does make the best business sense.
I am a lover not a hater, and just love pinball in general. I eat, sleep and breathe it.
