Not really, pre-order has not real commitment, you can back out once you see the artwork.  

My thought is, it's a custom pinball, regardless of what the artwork looks like (Unless it's like in crayon or something) and the fact there are only 100 being made, I can see a fully assembled machine going for more then the initial cost of the kit.  So even if after I get it and assemble it I could still sell it I'm betting for more then I paid.

I'm on the list now as well.

I've never pre-ordered before.  All I did was click on the Lost Vegas link and sent an email asking to be put on the list.   Is there more to it than that ?

There never is a confirmation email. Just send your preorder and that's it.

On a side note, I will be offering cabinet rework for all the kits. I have already spoken with Mike Purcell about it a long time ago... I hope it happens!
