I love the Initial D game with the full size cars!
still have mixed feelings. don't know if it's cool or sad that you need a full car as simulator. if the lineups weren't so long, maybe i'd have a different opinion.
The gran tourismo simulators were from Toyoto'a MEGAWEB Centre across the road.
my basement feels inadequate knowing it doesn't have storm G or half pipe canyon.
way too many, *REALLY WAY TOO MANY TOURBUSES* filled with obnoxious tourists clogging the place.
Odaiba has two other arcade/amusement complexes: one is almost the size of an airplane hangar. but 1/3rd of it filled with UFO Catchers, or crane games as we know it here. Boggles the mind the amount of unimaginabel stuff (donut makers, logs of dough, etc) people want to win.
You can really gussy up an air hockey table with some artwork and a canopy, think I'll copy that...
that table was different than what i'd ever seen before. There were two kinds of air hockey games: what we have here: vanilla surface and the other surface was a led screen that not only kept track of the score but appeared to have a torture mode: where it'd simulate multiple pucks to confuse the players.
shoulda taken pictures but i figure it was old news. i leave to the the next maaca member visiting Joyopolis to document if it's something not seen in North America.
With the price of 50" lcd's falling every day, all you need is a sheet of lexan and voila, you can truly have state of the art, gussied up air hockey table.
Is it an atom? No, it's multiball! Complete MAACA-Wacko!

WOW that's some b**** slapping fight! Clearly it is simulated like wrestling or the girls would be all red and sore. Kinda makes a guy want to see two girls doing that over him.

the singles title match went for roughly 45 minutes. Because it's a small promotion (only a dozen or so wrestlers,) everybody wrestle(s) at least two matches (alter ego's in constumes), so the ladies do work quite hard in a 3 hour event.
In the kabuchi district in Shinjuku, there are clubs that suite your taste.. the only problem is, it costs $150-$350 usd just to enter the clubs. Drinks to sip on while watching the entertainment are between $16-$30. Needless to say, i will only be posting pics of the sidewalks of Kabuchi

i only came in april because it wasn't too warm and the only dead time before work got busy. screw the cherry trees.. seen one, seen em al. it's the obnoxious tourists that piss me off. Almost makes me miss american travelers.
3 weeks isn't enough to understand japan. the next time, i would come in september-october: fugu in season, sumo wrestling in full swing.. more importantly, in september, Mt. Komonagane is open (with all snow melted)..
i read the webpage, thinking it only had 5.5 centimeters of snow when i planned my itinerary.. turns out it was 550 cm. KOLIS!
Do the cars have that annoying muffler sound! brrrrrrm brrrrrrm brrrrrrrrrrm brrmmmmm.
