Routers are working using the WRT54GL. Still working on the reader, not sure why but it doesn't register any data. I am probably going to hook it next to a regular PC to see what is happening with it.
Still working on the reader. I was able to obtain the service cards and default the reader (the required settings for this to work) but still haven't got it fully functional.
