I asked him if the sling plastics were high quality print or bubble-jet quality repro. He replied they were high quality silk-screened.

This is my experience too. And yes the quality and colour balance ranges. But generally if you replace "pairs" of slingshots and don't compare side-by side, you'd almost never know. Almost.
