Your clothes get ripped while moving pins? What are you, the hulk?

nope.  just your average pot head who has a blood condition that makes it i don't feel alot of pain.  especially when it just a scratch or scrape.  so i rip alot of shirts without knowing.  let alone my skin.   you will always see a scar on my arms or a fresh cut in my skin.  ask others that have moved with me.   i am strong and able to move things with ease.  but usally end up with a cut from something or other.  worst is when i am walking and not paying attention.  walked under a sign once and cut the top of my head.  right in front of the police station with a officer watching me.  i must have been a sight with the blood pouring down me and no facal expression or knowledge i did it till the blood was in my eyes.

Sorry to all the Novus customers I was supposed to meet at the auction.... I was away last week and didn't get home until late Saturday night. I thought the SB auction was next weekend.

I'll catch up with you at the next auction OR at the Championships at SB in October!

Actually Flipper Footballl was $600 thanks to the shiller bidding against me. Still a good price but needs an opto board set.

The auction is always kinda neat. Lots of crap but it can be had for cheap. Congrats to wbradley on the Flipper Football; it was fun listening to the machine after Sparky enabled the profanity mode. Also, congrats to Nickv on winning the enormous shooting gallery. I hope your wife likes it.

I think I might have a t-shirt made with my avatar on the front and back or a wear 'Hello my name is' sticker to break the anonymity. Or wear a MAACA t-shirt like Gory.

Kinda neat...that sums it up or as I would put it...it Sucked!!!
Starting bids? WTF is that? Thats worse that fleabays reserve bids..... I was eyeing a hardware jukebox....starting bid...$225? Crap I bought a working one for $250.
Otherwise it was ok except for waiting an hour to pay for my purchase..

The Starburst auction is NOT a no reserve auction.

Starting bids are there partly because I complained loudly to management about all the BS with shill bidding. Starting bid = No shill bidding. You do not like the starting price do not buy it. Makes the auction go much faster.

It has been scientifically proven that light is faster than sound. That is why some people seem brilliant........until they open their mouth!

I'd much prefer starting bids to reserve prices. It means I don't have to waste my time putting in a bid that the seller was planning to reject from the start. Why would a starting bid be worse than a reserve price?

I agree, that was the first time I had stuck around for the auction since they began
having starting bids.  The shilling before was frustrating and annoying, not to mention
it prolonged the auction unnecessarily.

I remember a guy showing up in an Civic or some other compact car one time and I watched
him bid on and 'win' about 15 items the one day.  It wasn't too obvious what was going on there.
