Just a note I didn't want the Johnny only the Shadow, but was going to "take one for the team" so to speak.

JM was a fun game, i liked mine but not enough to keep it ... doesnt mean its not fun thou.

I'd buy another if there was a nice one available for under 1200$

I want one, I would buy one, but a) I'm over-pinned right now (no money, no space until maybe December or January). b) I'd really like to get a price break, around $1500 (that's kind of my target these days for titles in this league).  Or maybe a Trade + $.  Call me names, "cheap" comes to mind ... but I've had previous offers to sell JM for less than that before (albiet varied condition), and I'm significantly poorer than I was before the past couple weeks of Fall Pinball Mania ....!

There is nothing wrong with JM. As I have said before good stuff is going out my door to be able to get my wish list going. For play value I hate to see JM go more than S. For difficulty in replacing the game though S is going to be painful just for the pf it has alone.

If it were not for me really really really wanting to get a CV, there is no way I would have sold JM or S.

I'm telling you guys you should snap up those other JM's. It's a really cool game to play and has more going for it in that department than a lot of other games at it's price point.

Personally I doubt most guys ever fully understand all the rules and how the game works, myself included. It's very complex to say the least. Getting to powerdown is just one aspect. It gives you bonuses for so many different things that it takes sometime to fully appreciate what you are doing and how the game works. There are many ways to approach beating JM and each approach is a new challenge. Most of the time JM just plain beats you.

Az, I felt the same way about your G&R. Nice game for $1600.

I hear ya, we're all different and have all different tastes, thx god.

You should see my new GnR, its a beauty, and #1 keeper here, not the most complex game, hey its even a DE, but we all like to play it, its all that matters.

i'm beeing goofy about JM, the circonstances i sold mine for were weird, still a game i wouldnt mind owning again, i cant buy right now else i'd take my old one back, at 1600$ its a steal, its VERY nice ! Had to sell BSD or JM in order to get something else i was interrested in, sold BSD first then got an offer i couldnt turn down for JM, so both went... and the game i wanted to buy wasnt available anymore, such is life, i would still own that BSD as well if it was not of that game i was trying to get my hands on.

I'd take one back at 1200$ right now, because its all i can put into it, but i'm not afraid to say that 1600$ is a pretty good price for either of them, they are all very nice.

Somewhere around here
I owned a JM, and I would say that they are still worth the ~$1700 range that they are for sale at. Is a very fun game with a lot going on. Is also super fast which can make it pretty challenging. Only reason I sold it was that I am not a big pinball person, as everyone knows I like the vids a lot more. And the pins that I do like are the old Ballys as they give me the old school feeling.

Is all nice and good and only wanting to buy one cheaper, but $1700 is what they are worth. I would like to buy Tapper vid for only $200, but they are worth more than that, and in the end if you are not willing to pay the price, then you might as well forget it.

Nothing the matter with the machine just because there are a few for sale. I remember a few months ago seeing a lot of LOTR pins for sale, does that mean there was something wrong with them just because they were for sale?

BTW, anyone have the pin price guide handy? How much is JM rated at?

Guide and my budget be damned, you've convinced me, I'll take one now at $1200 too.  Not a penny more or less.

Hmmm. I didn't see FT or WCS94 on your wish list. Is this a clever ploy to fool others?
