Maybe I could have done a 'poll' instead, but I wonder...which machine has the hardest road to get the wizard mode???

I know that LOTR and TSPP are pretty deep to get to their 'final wizard mode', but what about the others???

Whitewater is somewhat challenging as it takes some level of skill to get to wet willies( goal after 16 rafts) and to get the wizard mode you must before leaving wet willies have finished all 6 modes in boulder garden and lock & lite 3 balls(you need to have the timing right) on third ball the machine shuts off, locks up, goes into burn in mode, light show... wizard mode! Then keep on going and do it again!

Current Pin Roster:   Monster Bash, Cirqus Voltaire, Theater of Magic, Champion Pub

I second White Water.  But the thing that is the hardest is that you also have to get River Class 6 before you lock that 3rd ball.  This is almost impossible to get as it has to be done with 1 ball as it resets after every ball drains.  The only easy way to do it is when you go into the Whirlpool and you get a Mystery value that awards River Class 6 right upfront.  That is why some Home (but buggy) ROMS were created so that River Class doesn't reset after every ball supposedly....

WH2O takes the crown, wizard mode is next to impossible to achieve.

CFTBL is also a b****, but not as hard. However the game is a drain hog and the multi is only 2 balls. Always seems to end prematurely.

I have to agree, multiball ball is damn hard ! And apparently i suck at shooting the snackbar too to restart it And to think i thought a 2 ball multiball would be a piece of cake...

the trick is to get one of the balls caught up in the whirlpool. with some creative nudging you should be able to keep the ball spinning in there for a very long time, racking up big points. these techniques however are highly theoretical - when i get to creech's multi i'm so anxious that failure is pretty much guaranteed.

That explains why MrHide was the Grand Champion on it

That's because you suck...

Kidding around, the trick is to find the creature, then trap one ball on your left flipper and go for the whirlpool to increase the value with the other. if you fail to get the ball way up the ramp, use the trapped ball to avoid your missed ramp to go SDTM.

Let's put this way, I got rid of my Creech when I was hitting the jackpot every 2nd-3rd game and Super JP every 7-8 games or so... like PHil did on AFM:  it wasn't fun anymore...

My 'hardest wizard' is to get to the Final Battle in Shadow...completing it is...well...quasi-impossible.

Another hard one is to try to get both wizard modes on Judge Dredd in the same game.

I have to disagee with Vacation Jackpot in Whitewater, I've reached it twice in one game once. (Ended up with a 2.6 billion high score)

But I do get to vacation Jackpot quite frequently.  I just got there again on the weekend.  It really isn't that difficult and I did it without getting river class 6 reward through mystery.

Valinar in LOTR has to be the hardest wizard mode to reach that I have ever encountered.  Not sure about SPP as I haven't speant enough time with it yet.
