My Getaway...1350$, followed closely by the Mystic I sold to Monkeybug.. 50$ less than the Getaway...

See Chris? ...Told ya I lost money on the deal... but then again seeing you play the crap out of it makes it worth it!!!

Forgot the reason... the Getaway I got because of it's general condition, which is excellent, at a great price. The Mystic I bought because it was the cleanest early SS Bally I'd ever seen. Yeah, I overpaid, but it would have ended up on a route somewhere.... it's better off where it is now.

Paid almost $800 for a dedicated Mortak Kombat II.

It was my first game, and I didn't really know about public auctions and other ways to buy games.

I don't regret it though. I've had a good 2 years with it.

We all eventually learn the best & cheapest way to acquire games.

I paid 1600US$ for my I,Robot + shipping.
Why, because it was one of the 80's video game that i was crazy for but almost never play because i had no money at this time. And because it is the first 3D polygone based video game of the history, 10 years before Sega Virtua Racer. The value of this game will raise up to the sky in the next decade !!!! This I,Robot is near mint. It was taken out of an warehouse when i bought it, one of the last that had no owner. I wait 3 years to find it on ebay.

Don't worry, I believe you.  It is a fun game, I might even consider clearcoating it.

How is that Tron holding up?

Clearcoating...beware of mylar removal!!!!! Long and tedious!!! ...keep in mind that if you remove the mylar, and keep the playfield clean, you'll never wear it out. Keep your ball rust-free and the pf dust-free, and she'll give you years worth of games!!!

Tron is good! Haven't played much lately... but it's a tank!! I will install a new battery kit in it, adjust the screen, and she'll be great!!!
