Maybe theres $50 worth of parts to salvage. The backglass could be used for decoration, a few solenoids salvaged.  Rails, legs, lockdown bar.

At least they arent asking $2000.

Good luck, for $50 it is a good deal even for a home version no matter what others say.

A good deal if you know how to fix them?  From memory, these home editions different parts than the full size versions?

For sure that is true. You cant replace much, only fix. They have simplified all in one components in the place of discreet boards in many cases.

There was a repair logged on Pinball Ninja for a Bally home Evil Knevil (I think) and the stuff really was different from commercial.

My point still stand, this may turn up to be an easy fix or he will have paid $50 for a paperweight.  Funny that most will say we have to keep the hobby alive but quick to trash others when they move on something that is not mainstream.  At $50 chromizone will learn a bundle and hopefully he will have fun doing it.  Try to find a project pin at $50 that looks like this machine............you most likely won't. So for the record, if I were closer I too would have picked it up.  Who knows the part alone may come in handy for someone else later.

Enough from me I sound like an old man.

If it's a paperweight, I'll take the head off and use the body as a freaking coffee table, what do I care? Steal the BG out and put it on my wall or something. But I haven't got a response from him yet, so it might be gone already, who knows?
