Very interesting approach to building the playfield with different clear plastics. It looks like the playfield is clear plastic with printing on the reverse side for blocking light and transparent "insert" spots. Probably an economical approach vs wood, inserts etc.  

Considering the "new" costs of manufacturing a hard clear plastic "playfield" and the ease with which vinyl wraps are designed and made... this direction makes a lot of sense. Rear projection and/or "under playfield" monitor might make some sense at some point too.

Are the plastic posts really at risk? The simple playfield layout makes me think that the flippers won't be too powerful.

I contacted the manufacturer and they stated that they have sent the pin to a laboratory for certification.  I will get more info in about three weeks.  I'll let you know

Biggest thing I noticed was the wiring harness, or the lack thereof. Busses right to circuit boards that appear to be able to handle the power under the pf.

I thought about this approach before when the harness was stated to be one of the most labour intensive items to build. Better yet would be multi layer boards to handle power requirements and addressable devices on the pf.
