Dave how did u repair those sections that were cut out on the sides?how did u fasten them,nails?dowels?looks awsome.

It'll end up being better than when it was new, for sure!
I fixed the sides with dowels, there are three on each side (in the cut out areas) and the top and bottom was drilled on an angle and the dowel pushed.

Here's mine. Just the sides and I'm done. Wanted to stay with original painted sides and now regretting the labour involved to do so. When you see the pictures you will understand my pain. The new pics are from my camera which I have decided..sucks. Click on Thumbnails for larger image.
