I acquired this part in my Defender game. The seller had received it when they bought the game. Both of us are not sure what its for. Any ideas? (and I am not talking about the CDR, its just there for reference) |

Looks like a lock assembly. I would think this bolts to the back of a cam lock and catches at three lock points. Up, Down and at the side.
No wait.... that's the lost Defender mech. Ultra rare piece of kit that was only once mentioned by Eugene in passing. I heard about it but Lucasfilm made them take it out. |

Looks like part of a cabinet lock mechanism to me. |

yeah, it's a twist to lock mechanism, usually found on jukes though..... Someone likely raped the lock off of it and used the lock for your Defender door(s) .

yeah, and yet it's too small for a juke, (judging by the CD) so it looks like someone took apart a cashbox, or one of those "back of their truck" tool boxes apart to use the camlock for the defender. I hope I don't win that part if I get it right, ....too many parts already |

Well Ancient games got it 100%...its an extra locking mech for the WMS coin door. Here is a pic of his Make Trax with the same coin door. |
