There still seems to be a problem with display of accented characters. I noticed in the HTML source that the charset is ISO-8859-1, but the automatic selection of the browsers I use (IE6, Opera 9.5) doesn't use this. Instead they appear to select UTF-8, which mangles accented characters. For example the title of the French forum is "Section Fran硩se" or "Section Fran�aise" instead of "Section Française".
It is possible to override the browser's automatic selection and specify ISO-8859-1 instead which seems to correct the problem, at least for the forum title mentioned above. But something on the server side really should be corrected to prevent it from happening in the first place.
The forum is working fine as you have actually written with a french accent. (é è ç à ô ù ). From what I can tell there may have been an issue with the upgrade or something of that nature. Unless someone that knows where all the accents go is willing to fix this it may just stay that way. As for future posts they seem fine.

I like to take a poll. Too see how many people like the old way. That is when you place your cursor over a members name it showed how long they have been on, (ie 1min, 2min etc, etc)you know what I mean. The new way sucks, (ie Tues ,August 26,2008, 9:16 pm) I like the old way lets bring it back. Who's with me!!!!!!!!!
FYi, I get the chinese characters too, and that's on my work PC using IE (7?) on WinXP. Something did go amiss in the upgrade but I'll be the first to say: Not that big a deal for me, but I can see it would cause a bit of confusion, especially for those new to the site. But again, I can access the site just fine so no big deal here.
