4 things to do today...

1.. Swap in the old for the new...


2. Sand and paint this bad boy that was a forgotten March break project (MAME)



3. Fix the one on the left (vacuum leak, easy stuff)...


4. Most important..go to my buddy's trailer by 7 PM and pound a few back!

Anyway, that's alot to do in a day, usually there is some issue that you didn't expect with most jobs like those. Good luck you've got a full day for sure. I think that the 7:00pm part will be the most enjoyable part of your day... at least it would be for me. Probably for Gory too!

I'm stuck at work today, but things are slower than normal, good for surfing the net......

Ahh the 420 train, Ive missed that train for years, Can't wait till I retire and get to get into my old habits again   (22 years to go, lol)

tattoo needles???  Getting ink or do we have a resident tattoo artist??  

I sure hope it is the later as I am in dire need of some new ink.

I spent most of the day underneath the car. I forgot what a pain the a** it was to pull the shifter out without dropping the exhaust and transmission.

I was going to put in a Hurst Competition Plus shifter because I was having issues with my old one and Hurst did come with the car. As I was taking it apart I found where my issue was and fixed it, but carried on to put in the new shifter. Got the thing out and looked on the side of the old one. "Hurst Competition Plus". Although I am sure this is a Ford variant of it. Nylon vice steel bushings and a more rapid adjustment setup but more prone to failure.

mess. It was still in really good shape so I cleaned it up and put it back in. Now the other one is my spare.

I did drop in one of those Pertronix electronic point replacements too. Looks original but no more points and I was due for a points and condenser replacement.

i did mean the 4:20 buzz...   but i was up around 6am getting ready for our yard sale.  was up last night late till 2am getting ready for yard sale.  then to bed to play video games till 4am.   yard sale went till 3pm.  i drove back and forth from the tattoo shop to make sure all was fine.  it wasn't.  they just kept running out of things and it was somewhat busy there today as well.  yard sale was slow this year.  
   i don't think my day was as buzzy as yours.  unless we count the green.  then i win being Mr. HAPPY.

P.S. as you can tell by time of post...did not make it there by 7    Wife is home form work and getting ready now....good news is we are bike-in it KUZ I AM ALLREADY IN THE BAG!!!!

But the down side it must be a b**** on gas lately

  i myself haven't tattooed in over 20yrs.  i devloped artritis at a young age and the machines back then were very heavy.  so i stopped.  i have been body piercing in shops for over 17yrs and in the real world since i was 10 (30yrs).

If I did not have my cat with me I would stop off on my way home for vacation in Aug.  maybe next time (Sept or Dec) as I am due for some new ink.
