So since moving down here from Thunder Bay 6 years ago, I've only been to 1 concert worth mentioning Metallica/Limp Bizkit/Mundayne at the Skydome and want to see a few of my fav's from the 80's yet! Kiss, ACDC, OZZY, Maiden etc...

Iron Maiden is playing at the Air Canada Centre on Mon Oct 16th 7:30pm. Tickets are pretty reasonable $60 or so each.

By then Baby James will be filling them diapers and keeping Mommy busy, but I'll need to escape!

Anyone see Maiden lately?
Is Bruce Dickenson singing with them again?
Stage show/lights/pyro/statues still happening like the good ol days?

Would a group of pinheads be interested in going?  We could have a bite to eat and play some pinball at Union Station beforehand even.

Just a idea,
Brian

Yes Bruce Dickinson is back, and so is Adrian Smith.

I seen them a few years ago, Ed Hunter tour i believe, first one when Dickinson came back and it was very good. Was at the Molson center, we were 10th row on the floor, near the stage

BTW the new album is rather on the smooth side... or maybe i did not get used to it yet ..

So you were at the back of the audience then?

No they are putting chairs now in the ice area. I was 10th chairs row so as close as you can be from the stage.

Not sure how you call that area in english.. but in french its "parterre".

I saw Maiden 5-6 times in the late 80's, early 90's at the Forum.
I remember that on one of their tours, Guns N' Roses was the opening act.

They used to put on the greatest stage show... second only to GWAR... lol

There are few bands on the planet if any that can top the stage show of GWAR

It's certainly a sight to behold!

I was watching some of the maidens youtube vids. Not bad. She could not get the scream at the end of the corus in Aces High. No one but Dickinson can do that.

I will do everything in my power to get too the Montreal show (short of quiting my job).
