Last nights competition was definitely the closest night of competition
we've had to date.  For the first time I failed to finish in the top 2 overall or
finish first on any of the games.  Thankfully I managed to have my best
score on each machine my final go round or I would have ended up near
the bottom.

Rob had his best showing of the season by far, finishing first on Stargate
and almost did the same on EFTLW.  

Stef managed to narrowly defend his home turf by edging out Rob and I
for first overall on the night.  He also had his way with the Diamond Dude
over in the corner more than tripling the next highest score.  He sure
seemed disturbingly happy gazing longingly into the eyes of the Diamond Dude.

It was also good to see Mark out again and he had a good showing on the
night finishing first on EFTLW.  He also had the most bounce backs after
sewering down the middle that I've ever seen on Stargate.

The WOW game of the night belonged to George.  All night we took our turns
stepping up to Pinbot and getting our asses handed to us.  No one even managed
to put up a million on Pinbot except George who almost broke the 9 million mark.
That score was 13 times the next highest score of the night.

Jim managed to shoot all his good games before and after the competition and
Eric well he ummmm........... maybe he wasn't comfortable just pressing the start
button without first dropping a coin into the slot

Finally thanks to Stef for hosting and treating us all to a new game in his line-up.
Even though I couldn't put up a decent score on it during league play I did really
enjoy EFTLW.

it really was a fun night tho, thanks again to Stef, it was nice having a big turnout i sucked at every machine, but managed to have a lot of good laughs

Way too easy!!!  I just can't take advantage of an opening like that.

Anyway, I am shocked that I finished 1st.  I thought 3rd at best.  It was a tough night on the machines all around.  My only highlight was making Diamond Lady my beotch. (I know, Diamond Dude- I may have to reevaluate some lifestyle decisions)

It was good to see everyone out.  Very nice to meet KiKi (pardon the spelling), Mark's wife, and nice to see Jordan again even though she had to split early because the baby was getting fussy.  Next time she should have Eric take the baby home and play in his place, Jordan plays better  .  I'd like to get the wives out more often so that they'd let us play more often.  Besides, they are great for fetching beer and being designated drivers.  

Hope nobody minded the combo Open Patio Night and TCPL night.  It's fun to fill the house with people.  Unfortunately the weather was a little cool and almost nobody went for a swim.  Maybe next time.
