Anyone interested in a September meeting? We usually have the meetings take off again in September, after summer (whether the weather has been good or not...). So if anyone is interested in attending or even better, hosting a meeting, please let us know here.
Again, I can host a meeting, but my pins are quite rough these days... I have to order a lot of parts, but I am getting there. Worse case scenario, I rent or borrow a couple and have a meeting in October or November. I could just clearcoat Heavy Metal and reassemble as-is, and quickly fix up a couple more... But I can't make it for September... I have 2 business trips so time is limited...
I have 4 pins, including 1 EM, is that enough to host? I'd be willing to host a 'mini-meeting' with just Ottawa people, since I doubt my basement would fit everyone.

1 pin is enough to have a meeting! Sure, turnout might be less, but nothing wrong with that. Worse case scenario, we bring a pin too! We have had meetings in JD3's basement when he had 2 pins... we even had a meeting with 1 busted pin... and to be honest, I still talk about the meeting in 2005 at SpaceCadet's place, with all the old pins in his garage... that was awesome! And none of them were pristine there, other than the TSPP and LOTR in his house, but most stayed outside around the garage and had fun.
I would volunteer in bringing a pin over if needed. Silverball Mania is easy to transport in my van. Big Game is a bit heavy though... I might even have another pin ready, who knows... jeez, a meeting could even be used for a swap meet. Advertize a pin for sale and bring it to a meeting. Maybe a member will come along and buy it.
My basement isn't the biggest, and that's where I'm 'forced' to keep my pins, but if people bring pins, I'm sure the wife would allow them to be setup in our empty living room for the day. Let me discuss it with her and let ya know.

I was just at pinballjm's place today to pick up some parts. He's got an amazing collection, someone should pressure him to hold a meeting there. I did mention it to him. I told him it could be a nice grand opening for his new parts business.
