It wasn't as much of a difference as DE Tommy though.... that was amazing!
Stop saying how great Tommy is with the speaker upgrade or I'll have to go buy my old one back! It's hard enough to not make the call without being reminded how much I liked the music in it.
The most amazing upgrades that I've heard are STTNG and LOTR. The difference was insane.

Did I mention how GOOD DE Tommy sounds with the speaker upgrade! ( Doug, you can pay me back later! )
My wife loves the music in that game as well ME, so you're definately not alone there! You should buy that game back from poor Doug... he needs the room, I can't believe he still has that game hanging around. NICE example.

P.S. I think the speaker upgrade would be worth it in ANY game, TFTC for sure!
We spend all this money on these machines. Why cheap out on the sound quality? The kits are not that expensive considering what some of these newer machines sell for.... and for me, the sound is a big part of the overall pinball experience.
I'd much rather spend that on parts for the machine, posts, plastics, and things to make it cosmetically really nice then leaving those things as they are and getting upgraded sound. I wish I had the money to do both but I don't and since the cosmetics effect how the game plays parts will allways win out over sound. My BSd I'm shopping out I've got about the cost of a speaker kit in parts comming so it really is for me one or the other.
My statement was made assuming that you already have a 100% working game that you plan on keeping... otherwise I'd agree, use the money for parts to get that game working great!
