I wonder if there good deals on pins there ?
janick
Like many posted, the deals were a mixed bag of good and bad...
I wasn't really shopping for anything in particular,
but I didn't see any really stellar pin deals,
I did however see some good Vid prices.
I "nearly" bought a really nice working Robotron for $150,
but the thought of having to explain to my wife
why I needed yet ANOTHER Robotron when I've already had 4,
made me think twice about it, during that time, one guy
came up to the seller and offered $200 cash on the spot.
I'm a "little" sorry I missed that deal, but I got to sleep in the house
rather than the garage because of it !

Other notable Vids:
Beautiful Exidy Chiller sold for $350 ( I think ) after Sparky told the seller
that his asking price of $250 was too low !
Decent Defender U/R sold for $550. Nice cab, but wrong CPO.
Nice Dedicated Pac on-sale for $550.
It arrived late on Saturday afternoon, and hadn't sold when I left at 5:00pm
Dedicated Centipede U/R with massive screen burn.
Way overpriced at $600. Hadn't sold by Saturday night.
Nice non-working Space Invaders U/R : asking $275. not sold when I left.
I saw a few trashed Pac boards for sale,
but the sellers were nuts to think I'd pay $90US for them
(...missing chips, burnt caps, broken traces, bent pin, etc... )
Worst deal I saw : A completely beat-up , Euro re-imported Funhouse
that was totally trashed, dirty, with broken hacked plastics
and a nice coating of crud and crust for $1400 US.
I'm sure that one will be coming back with the seller.
Overall it was a good show, with beautiful weather
and a nice mix of goods for sale and pins to play.
I did not go back to the show on Sunday,
but I don't think I missed too much.
Cheers,
Steph
