It's funny everybody is kicking Tiger when he's down. The guy is more popular than Mick Jagger ever was but because Mick is a rock star people accept it. Mind you Mick never did commercials for Buick.
I can see Tiger when his wife looks at his Blackberry
"WHO'S THIS GIRL THAT CALLED YOU???? " " umm, well, umm, you see honey it's funny, you will find this funny, seriously sweety it's no big deal, I don't know why you are making a big deal about this, I didn't do anything wrong. . . " "I SAID, WHO'S THE b**** THAT CALLED YOU?!!!! Don't think Tiger ever experienced that kind of pressure on the golf course.
If there are groupies in music and puck bunnies in hockey, what's a golf slut? Ball washer? Bunker bunny? Iron chaser? Any suggestions?

Why get married in the first place if your a skin hound? This guy wasn't just cheating, he was out of control. If that's what he wanted to do he should have just stayed single in the first place.
Besides the guy can hit a friggen ball with a stick, become a billionaire and get all this notoriety. If society rewarded scientist and physicians not nearly as well as they reward these sports figures the world would be a much better place.
The only thing Tiger has done for me in his entire career is given me a laugh. I get a laugh out of the fact his wife went after him with a golf club.

Maybe but then we would have well known scientist and physicians that cheat on their wife/husband. Let's not mix bedroom habit and worthwhile causes. Many well know historical figures were hopping from one bunny to another you don't know about it because it was not advertised and the internet did not exist.

Meh,
Tiger was a dirtbag.
Plain and simple. Amazing golfer, dirtbag. I got a friend he's a plumber, and a dirtbag too, theres just no cnn story on the number of married girls he makes time with. SHould Tiger be married? No. He is a woman chaser, no sense being married. He was married so that he projected the right image, and it netted him a Billion Bucks.
He should leave his wife (she should leave him first) Give her half his cash, and pay for the kids upbringing.
Then he should go back to playing golf, take the hit on endorsements for a year or 2, and sooner or later, he'll be back to a billion dollars, and he can afford to pay for all these love children that are gonna start popping up.
I couldn't care less about what Tiger does in his spare time.. or any other celebrity for that matter. This obsession that society has with celebrity culture is a little sickening. People lose sight of the fact that these celebrities are no better, worse or different than the rest of us..
The man's a professional golfer, and a damn good one.. but do I care if he sleeps around or thinks I should buy a Buick? Not in the slightest.

+1 (except for the Plumber friend part)

I'm just amazed at the whole thing. I can't find time in my life for friends, family and work. I always thought he was so far above everyone else at golf due to his dedication to the sport. One of the first golfers to be seriously fit, and bench-press 350 - he took the Jack Nicholos course-preparation to a new level. To be elite in any sport, takes long-time unwavering commitment. (Or at least that's my excuse for just being an average player in any sport I do - as I get distracted/bored quickly).
To see Tiger so far off-course in this is mind-numbing.
I wonder if he was chuckling when he was endorsing the "Rendezvous"

I was saying the same thing to some friends. I don't really care about golf or Tiger Woods. I am absolutely amazed that he can be at the top of his sport and find time for all his "extra-curricular activates". His sponsorships may go down, but the guy could make a mint selling a time management course ! He's obviously an expert at that.
I agree w/ the statements a few have said. The best thing for him to do is leave his wife, be absolutely fair in the divorce, and accept he is a male slut. Married life isn't for everyone and it's obviously not for him.
Years ago, Jack Nicholas was quoted in a rather negative response about the up-and-coming Tiger. Nicholas was being questioned about how he feels about the real possibility that Tiger would surpass his records, and Nicholas' response went along the lines of, "Yeah, Tiger is doing well now, but wait until he gets married and has kids.".
Yes, I really don't care either. However, I think so many people are relishing in this because of the false image he was portraying. As he was marketing a lot of stuff based upon his squeky clean image - now he (and his handlers) appears like a hypocrite.
I guess it is like when a pin seller tries to pass off a pin as super-clean when in fact they know full well it has lots of hidden problems. i.e. People have big problems with paying market/book value for a pin when it is not truthfully represented.
As such I think the people who really care are the people who feel that they have been lied to. Who was really mad at magic Johnson or Babe Ruth or Wilt Chamberlin or Denis Rodman with all there antics? Hardley anyone really because they were pretty upfront with there image - no lies. Take em or leave em - not quite the case in the "Woods Affair".
Can't believe I just wrote about this - guess it is hard when it is everywhere. So much for a future Stern Golf pin featuring the Tiger (unless they mixed it with a PlayBoy theme).

As they said, the man is still a Ferrari when it comes to sponsors. A dent in the bumber Ferrari but a Ferrari nonetheless! A quick fix and he will be back. Maybe he will be more attractive to companies making condoms.
