Always fun to make the old Toronto-Montreal trip. Always interesting to put actual faces to the MAACA usernames. When I went to meet Magneto and Powerslave ( Luc and Mario ) I expected a couple of old, cranky, pin-collectors who wore their pants too high and with suspenders. But I was totally surprised. Felt bad for giving Mario a hard time a few months ago, and wish I had paid more attention to some of Luc's restoration threads. His efforts in making playfield overlays is unbelievable. Next time, I have to stay longer and play a little.
Nice to meet Mrhide ( Phil ) for the first time as well. I got caught up at Magneto's in all the shoptalk and arrived at Phil's a little later than planned. Should have made the effort to contact him and let him know I was running late. My apologies on that score. Anyway, it ended on a positive note and he sold me his Funhouse for $800. It was a good day.
Good to see Sparky again. Did me a solid on some backglass touch-up that I didn't even ask for !! He's a good guy, even if he did lose my 6M$M stencils !
I'm sure I'll be back soon. Hope everyone enjoys their new games / playfields.
