I`m needing a nice unit at a earthly price if they exist locally - the ebay prices for a working + sort of ok cosmetically is around 1000USD - asking 1200 to 1500 but seem to be selling around 1K - less tidy go for less.

I`d rather buy locally as shipping increases that by at least 400$

I was offered a really clean members restored Tron - very nice - but price is 3,000 dollars....Im scottish, so Im too tight.

Wondering why you knew who?  I did a search and see he was selling something as simple as barstools at higher than Canadian Tire prices - I dont mean to turn this into a flaming BBQ but is Terrances prices always known to be "wind swept and interesting"?

I haven't heard from GJD on here in a while Donnie, but if you gave him a call I'd bet he'd be able to hook you up with something.  He's got a couple of warehouses full of games.

Let's break down the Vancouver price shall we...

all prices approx, or based on what I paid.

Machine $800
Shipping $600-700 Can
Side Art $250 Can
New joystick (the one on the machine is not correct), with new trigger/switch $50 Can
New lower bezel $150 Can
Shroud art, interior side art $250 Can
Rear interior art $150 Can
New Black Lights & starters ( 3 lights) $70
New control panal art $70 Can
Monitor capping $20 (if you do it yourself)
anything else that is missed or broken parts (say $100 if you can find the parts - I'm speaking of the shroud itself)

so lets see....  that's about $2610 for a restored TRON that may get damaged in transit, and that you have to do all the work on.....  Price is outrageous I agree, but perhaps I'm not as far off as many argued I was.... and with the movie coming out, I can only see these prices going up.  

Food for thought.  Also, I don't see anyone who has a TRON stepping up to sell theirs at a lower price, or even offering to sell theres at my high price.

It may be better buying this one, at least the work (and finding the parts) is done for you.

Funny how that always seems to happen to his posts?  

  I found a Twighlight zone for sale in Europe - does that mean my 3K twighlight zone is worth 5K cause it costs 2k for shipping and customs.  I dont figure how someone else shipping price for a machine adds VALUE to my own game.  

The Westside machine looks pretty good for the 700 bucks asking price.
