Here's what IPDB thinks (based on Rating): http://www.ipdb.org/search.pl?yr=1984-88&sortby=rating&searchtype=advanced

(After removing some anomolies)

1. High Speed Williams
2. Pin Bot Williams
3. Swords of Fury Williams
4. Cyclone Williams
5. Taxi Williams Williams

Close 6ths: Banzai Run, Space Shuttle Strange Science, F-14 Tomcat (should have warned me earlier CANTSTANDYA's got one for sale...)

My List:

1. High Speed
2. Cyclone
4. Laser War (Data East, Stereo Sound) <- One of the "favourites" in my collection.
3. Space Shuttle
5. Sorcerer

Honourable mention: Fire!, Genesis (ugly backglass, but a cool game - as cool as Pin Bot), Laser Cue, Big Guns, Black Pyramid,  Dungeons & Dragons (just because I'd like to try playing one - never played it before)

Quoted from HAL-9OOO
Williams system 11

Agree with Hal. Definately 5 System 11s. It would be very, very, very hard to decide which 5, though. There are so many good ones. I'll try though...

Not in order...

Banzai Run. Very cool concept. Fun and challenging game to boot. I like everything about this game except maybe the size when I am helping moving one

Whirlwind. Great game. Awesome sound. Love the fan on the top which aims perfectly at the player. My kids love this one in the summer.

Diner. Outstanding theme, beautiful to look at and play. I love the non-PC characters as well.

Taxi. I've always loved this game since it was first released. I've had a few, but don't have one right now. The theme is great and game play outstanding.

Swords of Fury. I like this game. Something about it just works for me. I like the mini playfield. Shots are challenging. MB fun. Love the horseshoe shot.

Honorable mentions: Space Station, Transporter, Mousin' Around, Jokerz, Earthshaker, Radical, River Boat Gambler, and Roller Games. Wow, alot of great sys. 11s!

Many system 11s were made after 1988 including Whirlwind (1990). The list:

http://www.ipdb.org/search.pl?yr=1984-88&searchtype=advanced

Most of the best titles are system 9/11, my favourites would probably be Sorcerer, High Speed, Grand Lizard, Road Kings, and Space Station. But other interesting non-Williams during this period include Time Machine, Strange Science, Truck Stop, Genesis, Party Animal, and Hardbody.

Playable Now: Centaur II, Doctor Who, High Speed. Playable Soon: Breakshot, Sorcerer Later: Flash, Genie, Seawitch Fondly remembered: Firepower

It's interesting how Genesis gets love from some, but not a lot of love from all.  That damned backglass!

Hmmm, let me see, this list would be a chunk of my collection! At least MY top 5.

High Speed...and I kinda thought I was getting tired of it until I shopped it the other day. Now the ball feels like it weighs nothing and its playing so freaking fast, playing like new.
Genesis...I love mine.
F-14, yes I've played Taxi, cyclone etc but none are as fast and exciting as F-14...again, shopped it like my HS and its killer fast.  Whirlwind, Mousin around etc those pins are outside the criteria. We're talking about games from 84-88.
Pinbot
Strange Science, I had trouble picking just one more.

TSPP is here!!
STTNG on the way!
Tommy
Stargate
High Speed
Genesis
Aztec

Off to other homes to be enjoyed...Freddy a Nightmare on Elm St, Pinbot, F-14, Robocop, Monday Night Football, Flash Gordon,  Mr & Mrs Pacman, Meteor, Jurassic Park, Grand Lizard, City Slicker, Baby Pac-man, Wheel Of Fortune and T2 has moved on...man I miss these things when I sell them!
