Ok, this one will open a lot of controversy since there are so many great WPC games. I am almost to the point that I would admit there isn't a WPC game I didn't enjoy at some level, but I haven't owned them all.
Right now CV gets the most attention TZ is probably the most challenging game I own and earns my utmost respect in terms of what they attempted to achieve. Both gain my vote for fun or complexity respectively. MM wins over for just general theme, presentation and excitement.
This is Waaaaay to tough for me! Addams Family Theme is perfect and the game fits so well with the Movie, CFTBL is so cool once you figure out it is a '50's Drive-In theme, and Creature just happens to be there. TZ and ST:TNG are Great for the reasons stated, Funhouse for the real start of what the WPC Platform can do. It goes on and on. There really isn't one that I find really bad, some are way easier than others, but they all have something for me, Which explains a lot of why my House loooks like it does!

Here are games I would like to acquire this year, or sometime...

That's a tough one, but I have come to the conclusion that theme and ruleset has a major influence on the newer games. Look at the following games: MB, MM, AFM, JM, LOTR, Sopranos etc.. Why would one like, say, LOTR over JM or Sopranos? They have the same playfield (but different toys). There are many other similar examples. Having said that, I like sci-fi and medieval castle themes, hence why I like AFM, LOTR, TZ (also like MM and STTNG but don't have them). Also important, most highly rated games have the ability to entertain newbies while at the same time keep the pinball experts challenged with a deep, complex and hard ruleset. Not too many games succeed on this front.
That's a house? I just took it that you lived in an arcade.
No No, There is a Closet you didn't see, that is the actual House!

Unfortunately i still have alot of WPC's to try so i can only base myself on what i owned and really played.
So far TZ and STTNG are pretty hard to beat for me but i'm aware that i still have a lot of games to try.
I was going to buy another 3K+ game to complete the lineup and then i played Shadow.. i just couldn justify paying twice its value while i understood that i would enjoy spending some time with one. My plan, 4 years ago was to cycle games as often as possible to try them all and see by myself which i would like to own, unfortunately, i bought a TZ and a STTNG down the road the cycle stopped
Currently owning: - Solar Fire, Medusa, Flash Gordon, (Centaur), No Fear ------------------
I still like IJ with CV and ToM as the next most played pins at my house currently, that will change. I have been through most of the WPC pins and each one of them is very different, some I enjoyed more than others, with Junkyard as the only except, I hated that pin. The only pins I miss are NF and DM.
It has been scientifically proven that light is faster than sound. That is why some people seem brilliant........until they open their mouth!
Machines I own and really like are Addams Family-just good fun, Demolition Man-great flow and challenging, Shadow-interesting theme and challenging. I also have TZ and TOM, but I just dont find them as fun to play. I often find pins on location not working properly and it is hard to get a good read on how just how good they really are.
Ranking of WPC's I've played (physically, not with vpinmame/VP): 1) IJ (One day, I will OWN you!) 2) The Shadow (I love everything about this, except the translite, but I don't care) 3) White Water (I've gained a new appreciation for my first pin recently, I raised the slope, and it's a whole new game!) 4) ToM (I love the theme, and the playfield layout) 5) TZ (Rod Serling rules, I just wish it was a DCS game!) 6) Getaway: HS 2 (Great soundtrack, simple rules, love the speedtrack, or whatever it's called) 7) JM (Fast! Glove slows it down too much though) 8 ) DM (cool shots, I like the flow. Claw slows it down too much) 9) Roadshow (Theme is interesting, but voices are waay too kiddy for my taste, really interesting rules) 10) Congo (played it twice, didn't feel like playing a third time, it was probably the theme) 11) STTNG (I like Star Trek, but hate the playfield layout, and I find that the theme takes itself WAY too seriously)
I somehow doubt anyone will agree with me. I'm obviously biased based on what I own, but not sure how to get 'unbiased'.
