Twisted Metal God of War Uncharted Infamous Ratchet and Clank Resistance
360 doesn't really offer up any exclusives that are really must play games for me, but I understand for someone who spends most of their time gaming online, it's the better choice for a system.
PSN ID is the same as your XBox Live ID.
PS3 does have some sick exclusives, but the 360 had some great downloadable exclusives this summer including Limbo, Lara Croft (yes, it's actually really good), and Monday Night Combat.
I would've said that Mass Effect 2 is an awesome enough game to get a 360 for, but now it's apparently coming to the PS3 in 2011. I'd still recommend playing the first game on the 360 though (or the PC).

Mass Effect is about the only game that has tempted me, but not enough to go out and buy the system.
I don't online game very much, I did back in the PC days but I still don't really feel I've made the adjustment from shooters on the PC to shooters on console, I just find it unresponsive and no where near as accurate as a keyboard and mouse and that takes away quite a bit from my overall enjoyment of shooters on consoles.
Actually I'd love to play these titles, the first Resistance was really good (though a little clunky, but that's because it was rushed for the release of the PS3). The others look great as well
Right now I'm playing through Transformers: WFC .. great game.
Gears of War is a great 360 exclusive though.. and, well.. Halo.
Own Magic, Star Gazer, Batman Forever, STTNG, Mystery Castle (project)
Gone Fairy, Secret Service, Meteor x3, Title Fight, Eight Ball Deluxe, Bone Busters Inc., Seawitch, Starship Troopers, Strange Science, Arena, Hook, Pin*Bot x2, Time Warp, Motordome, Robocop, Black hole, Jurassic Park , Wipe-Out, Pinball Pro: Challenger I, Swords of Fury, Stargate, Party Zone

Yea I've already played through Transformers on PS3, was pretty fun.
See that's why I choose PS3 over Xbox, the majority of exclusives are shooters and for me as a born and raised PC FPS player, paying FPS games on a console just doesn't cut it.
ChrisBardon on both the ps3 and 360. Much easier for people to find that way
Honestly, I always saw the Xbox exclusives as better than the ps3 ones, but it's really a matter of opinion I think. It's really pretty close to parity now though, with very few third party stuff coming out on just one of the two. At that point you're down to the first party exclusives, and the few 3p games that only show up on one platform. I still do the majority of my gaming on the 360, but having both means that I can play whatever I want. Mostly it's down to interface now-I think the 360 has better OS software, and being able to install a full game to the hard drive means that it loads faster and runs silently, while the ps3 fan gets a little noisy. Plus, I just like the controller more on the Xbox. There are also instances where one version of a game is markedly better than another for technical reasons (e.g. the 360 version of Bayonetta and the ps3 version of FF13).
That did get me curious though-of all the 360 games I've played, which are exclusive. Digging through the stats on Xbox.com, there are a bunch, but once you filter out downloadable games and first party games, the only ones that I could find were pretty old. The first Dead Rising never came to ps3, and I'm pretty sure that Dead Space was 360 only, but that's about it. There were also games like Oblivion, Bioshock, and Mass Effect 2 that came out on 360 first, and then got ported later. Then there's a shitload of first party games on both 360 and ps3 that aren't going to make the jump.
It really is just a matter of opinion. Like I said the majority of exclusives to the Xbox and your samey FPS game. I've personally grown tired of the current FPS scene. I miss health bars and I'm tired of realism. That's why I liked Resistance, health bars, interesting weapons and a decent story line, Resistance 2 took a step backward as far as I'm concerned losing the health bars in favor of sitting in a corner and sucking you thumb till your health comes back.
At least there is a level of originality in games like Ratchet and Clank and God of War.
In this day an age, the downloadable games are becoming a much bigger deal. IMO, the best ones have been for the 360 including Shadow Complex, Braid, Pop Cap Games, Trials HD, Splosion Man, and Limbo. I'd argue it's worth buying a system just to play the 360 DLC exclusives.

Never really been much of a twisted metal fan, or a car game fan to be honest. I liked the old Burnout games, but once Paradise ditched Crash Mode and did just the point to point races, I was out. I see what you mean about the health packs though, but didn't Resistance end up with regenerating health after the first couple of levels? I can't remember-I played it a couple of years ago. I'll go back to an FPS every so often, but I'm definitely getting tired of some of the sameness. I'll probably check out Halo Reach this fall (since I skipped ODST) just because those games are unbelievably polished, and I've still got a copy of Borderlands sitting at home that I haven't touched. Gears 3 I'll probably skip though-I got really bored with Gears of War 2 near the end.
Agreed on the downloadable games though-there are a lot that are going cross platform there as well, but there are definitely exclusives on both sides. Shadow Complex was seriously one of the best games of last year, downloadable or not. There hasn't been as many really standout XBLA games this year, but there's still some great stuff out there.
