I seem to be the loser - overpaid for a The Professional - an Evel Knieval overlay.   I enjoy the early SS chimes and gameplay.   Might sell it - but who would buy it?

Hippochrome has a better idea - make my own plastics / playfield overlay / etc.    A project I'll never get a round to, but a good idea.   Jen won't allow it in the gameroom its so ugly.   Trying to make room to setit up in the workshop...

First pin was a Cyclone - ended up getting it in exchange for helping out a local operator in oakville while i was in college, spent my saturday nights parting cabs, fixing machines, cleaning, helping change machines on route, and they gave me a really nice Cyclone, which is still in my collection right now and will never leave, but that was only in 1998 (i'm only 29) so still pretty new into collecting.

After 2 years on r.g.p, decided it was time to bite the bullet and get a pin.. The nicest pins in town were in old montreal on st. paul street arcade.  They had a  nice funhouse. called the owner up and i was in luck, he wanted only $1500 for it:  which was my budget. i asked him if he had any other pins for sale (because there weren't any others that i liked), he said would i be interested in twilight zone.

would i?  i'd been pumping at least 2 dollars a day since august 93 on TZ.

i didn't have the extra $500 that he wanted. forgot what i did to get the extra 400 that month. remember being misty eyed walking in the warehouse with all the pins/videos.

that was july 95... TZ ain't leaving.

My first pin was a Stern Magic I won on Ebay for $320, working... I sold it 'cause I ended up moving, but managed to get one off here from Pinstocker!  It's in much better shape!  And thanks to Cooke, it lives again!    I won't be selling this one.

Played TAF all through high school, decided about 5 years ago I wanted one so that's the one I got.
Good shape but dirty, learned a lot just taking it apart to clean and put back together....looked at 3-4 other TAFs before getting this one.
Still have it, won't ever leave!

Currently ~~ The Addams Family ~~ Monster Bash
Wanted ~~ MORE! Once there is enough room! 2 pins in a 2 bed apt is enough

Sorcerer was my first pin after about a dozen vids. Wish I still had it, but it currently has a good home with a maaca member.

Now, 20ish pins later, I've come to terms with the fact that nothing lasts forever and pins will come and go. The ones I really like just stay longer than others.
