Anyone have a N64 to PC (pref USB) converter that they would like to sell me?
What other (if any) options do you all use for your N64 Emulation on your PC's?
Current Pins Current Arcade ------------------------------------------------------ DM Home Made "Baby" M.A.M.E. EFTLW Vision 33" JAMMA Machine TFTC MK 1,2,U3,4. JM SFA2. Golden Tee "99" Killer Instinct 1&2 1 Slot Neo Geo/5 or 6 games (In a box somewhere) 108 in 1 Neo Geo cratrige
I don't understand what you're looking for... For emulation I use UltraHLE. However I stil keep my N64(2 of them actually) with a Z64 that has a 4GB internal HD with most of the roms we use on it.

I believe he does not wish to use the N64 hardware with a backup rom cartridge, but instead wants to run completely in emulation and utilize the original controller.
They are 10 bucks on ebay. I own a third party USB dual shock for running on a PC and works fine with PS emulation. There may be a similar one for N64 out there.
If you were in the TO area I would say check the Asian Pacific Mall, but I think your going to have to order online.
I have a ton of crap. N64, PSOne PS2 Dreamcast GBA and "interesting" third party goodies for them. I don't have what your looking for, but I have a bin of this stuff that needs to find a new home. One day I will post all this crap FS on here when I get to it.

I would love to see what you got for the N64 and the PS1 when you get to it. "dibs!" lol.
so anyone here live near and frequent this "Asian Pacific Mall" as I HATE E-bay due th the shipping and customs charges. I avoid it like the plague.
ALSO, what are we talking about reference "use the N64 hardware with a backup rom cartridge" I am curious as that this is?

Now your going to make me dig.
As for that mall. It used to be pirate heaven but got cracked down on a couple of years ago. I haven't been there in awhile but in it's day it was a joke what they would sell over the counter.
If you want to get into some good old skool arcade games and use original hardware, get yourself a Dreamcast. Sega sold their soul to the home market and ported their games to that console. I stopped following it but guys were working on emulation of it too. Some of the best shoot em ups and combat games for it's time and identical to what they were selling to the arcades. Games like Power Stone and the original Soul Calibur were released on that console. Sega pulled out all the stops and it pretty well killed them to do it in the end.
They put their faith in the GD drive that was proprietary to give them copy protection. Unfortunately they also wanted to support CD music and a couple of ingenious guys wrote a crack that was read in when it flipped to CD mode which allowed games to be played without chipping the console. Needless to say ROM's got produced that had the crack and all that was required was to pare down the file size to CD size when necessary since the GD drive held more information (1Gb).
This was also the first console to have analogue triggers which have become the standard today.
I was amazed by what they had in them. When I bought mine it was after they announced they were stopping production and support. They even produced a small number of broadband adapters for them. The problem with Sega is they hit the market too late and PS2 killed them. At the time though even though it had in some respects inferior hardware to the PS2, it's design was far more efficient and rendered as well and in some cases better than the PS2 depending on the application. Really a shame they didn't catch on. Sega definitely was an interesting company. Just look at the efforts they made to go into the pinball market.
Update: it looks like the finally did it. Apparently nullDC is the better of the two from what I have read.
