The Sure SHot I have has lights under the kick-out holes for when the special is lit.   The lights must shine through the red-plastic and generate enough light to be visible through the kick-out hole.   I thought a "high intensity" LED would be a good fit here.  

I guess the EM lights are 6V DC - dooh - thanks Sylvain 6.3V AC.

Any idea what a good LED light would be?  

Would pinballjm sell them?   ( I gotta order the beer holders anyways. )

EM lights are 6.3V AC (not DC).

Make sure you choose a LED that can operate with AC supply.
Not all pinball-lamp LED replacements support AC (they however all operate with DC).

Dooh - the AC was a typo - honest   - I had missed the 0.3V though.

Yeah, I've been surfing, I guess pinballjm has AC/DC ones @ only $2 each - worth a shot:
