HAL, don't start to panic about the player. If it works for now, even if it is known to be unreliable, just enjoy the machine until the day it dies....
I have a spare LD-V1000 (untested but probably works) if you run into trouble....

You are the envy of my son. He had an opportunity to play Mark's prestine condition one and won't stop bugging me to go back there.
Nice piece of video game history. In fact some finger these machines as part of the demise of the video arcade due to thier relatively high initial cost. I don't agree, location, location, location. In the right location these things were a gold mine. |

Thx to all, i got the DL, yes it's a wonderful piece of video game history !! All original, with original smoke burn on the overlay, original laserdisc player still working good after 23 years, original hacking from operators, but not too bad !! I also got original problems from a 23 years old arcade video game that return to life after 20 years in a warehouse like hummming in the speakers I'm very happy with this purchase, good price and all original !! Pics will come soon !! |
