I got the DMD back up on a bracket where it should be.

Today I fixed the neon. The transformer was on it's way out so I replaced it.

I still can't figure out customs. Ordered from Bay Area literally Sunday and it shows up today. No ransom note like the post office or UPS. Just "Sign here sir." and away you go.

Can't believe how fast it was processed and shipped.

So should I go with the red ball or the blue ball? I bought both. Ah wtf red ball and the rabbit hole goes deeper.

If it was shipped UPS, it will come as Adam says. If it was USPS, you lucked out.

Fedex air.

I know UPS won't even get it to you until you have paid them ransom. I don't mind the taxes and duties so much as it is the ridiculous amount UPS charges to broker.

Anyone know what's up with the scroll colour?

Marco seems to carry light purple and Bay Area dark.

Is it just the shots?

Fedex air.

Fedex Air, the brokerage is included in the freight charges. Taxes and duties are not.

You guys are too funny.  I'd give my eye teeth for a pinball that clean...someday.

The markings under the legs are used by the printer  (and a spectrometer) to test that the colour runs are up to spec.

UPS air sends Tax / brokerage bills in the mail after the fact as well (it's only UPS ground that makes you pay up front I think).  They all get you somehow.

Well it all adds up the $$, but at the end of the day I don't give a mess what anyone says about HUO. This thing is basically NewO. Other than a hand full of parts that were swapped i.e. neon ramp, the more I dig into this thing the more I realize that this might have gotten a shakeout run and that is it. Some guy robbed a part and that was the beginning of the end of it running. Luckily the ramp made it back. I am assuming the dead ringmaster motor from some other CV is rolling around in some 1990's vintage truck.

So the ever mounting bills to finish it are mounting up, but it is definitely worth every last dime I am putting into this thing. Basically I would say this is an irreplaceable game. Sample, domestic and just like new.

How does this equate to the scrolls colour?

On a side note.

I have sample 174. I chatted with a guy in Europe with sample 20. So I am assuming these went to Europe first.

I vote for RED ball!  It will enhance the small bits of red in the artwork, and well, blue balls aren't as much fun.

I love this machine! and the artwork is second to none. I'd even buy a CV poster.

Pretty much ALL sample games went to Europe first.  (not sure if that still holds true for Stern though...)
