Well just an update, all the controls, buttons and Ipac4 are ordered.  I do not expect to see them until the new year as Sparky mentioned it is the busiest time of the year when it comes to shipments.  I am going to pick up the building material tomorrow night when I leave work and I should get started on the actual building of the cabinet Saturday if I can finish up my x-mas shopping early enough to keep the better half happy.  I will surely be posting pictures and questions as I go.  I am really excited and hope all goes well.  

a couple of quick questions.
Is it best to screw the cabinet together or to glue and brad nail?
What type of paint do most of you use to paint the cabinet black?
