First off I'd like to say a huge thanks to Glen and his Wife Kim for opening up their home to us for an amazing and fun night of Pinball.
Also would like to say thanks to everyone who made the long drive to make it down to Glen's it ended up being a really fun night and I hope everyone enjoyed it and made it home safe.
I have to say I was very disappointed with the turnout from the local membership as Glen and I were the only representation for Toronto, in our home town no less! But represent well we did!
Now on to the results...
Qualifying was played on 5 machines, Johnny Mnemonic(sp?), Twilight Zone, Getaway, Medieval Madness and Monster Bash. At the end of qualifying we had a tie between Rat and Sparky, to determine who would end up being top qualifier we had a 1 ball playoff on TOTAN in which Sparky bested Rat and was named Top Qualifier of the tournament.

After protesting the entire night about not wanting to play because she would receive the toilet if she did Mary Ellen had a stunning performance throughout the single elimination coming in second place overall besting Twilight Zone, and Rat.
Sparky and Vengeance happened to meet during the single elimination as well and in the end Sparky bested Vengeance to move on to face Necro, could this be a sign of thing to come later during the Montreal vs Toronto grudge match??!!
In the end Glen beat out Brigitte, Sparky and Medvet using his home team advantage and being crowned winner of the Montreal/Ottawa Toronto Invasion!

Glen enjoyed the spoils of victory!

These are the scores from the single elimination:

Then came time for the Grudge match, Toronto vs Montreal, Sparky vs Vengeance. Would their earlier match up ring true again and would Sparky be crowned champ or would Vengeance be able to overcome the earlier loss and defeat Sparky?!?!
Well as they say a picture is worth 1000 words

Yes in a sound 3 straight Adam was able to best Sparky on Twilight Zone, Shadow and Monster Bash. A valiant effort on Sparky's behalf but it was not meant to be.
In the end the Ottawa/Montreal team was left to soak and heal the wounds suffered from the evening's results

I hope everyone had a good time and I look forward to the next meeting, I plan to make the trip assuming my schedule permits it if the next meeting ends up being in Ottawa or Montreal.
Until then thanks everyone for coming and again thanks to Glen and Kim for opening up their home for us, here are some other random pictures from the night.
