Well I am a little confused  I start the machine tells me please wait. The weird garbage and then shows me the raptor shooting seen then black screen?? Then empty for a minute then shows credits but no graphics? I checked all connector are good. Now fuse left to check but tired time for bed. I will post pics tomorrow looks like a rom is missing not sure will see. When I am well rested. Maybe somebody has seen some of these symptoms. Oh forgot to add service menu works but when I press takes like 20 seconds to register and then after 1 minute gives diag error and can’t even exit.. |

It should have 1 EPROM, 1 RAM chip, and 1 open socket(top). The DMD should have 1 EPROM in socket 0 and 1 open socket (1). Both EPROMS need to be the same version. Check that the ribbon cable to the DMD controller board is connected properly. Ensure the red stripe is on pin #1.

Well looks like I figured the problem. I need to update my roms because seems to be going in time out status when my dmd goes all black was a common problem with earlier versions. So guess Stephs will get a call from me But sucks will have to wait  |
