The warehouse I have in Bowmanville is literally full( Bursting at the seams), and I need to unload some duplicates, en masse. I also have another small bulk deal( @ 50 games) that will be going down before that, so there will probably be some stuff in there to unload too.Like the last time, i'll probably give away some extra stuff for free, like last time, maybe even another working game too.I have a few quick questions..
1. Any idea on a venue? Local to TO of course. 2. Would you come, or mention it to others?
Would be similar to the last one, mix of pins and vids, mostly classics, reasonably priced, with some oddball items, and the auctioneer would probably be the SB guy.
For those who missed the last one, here is a link to some more pics to give you an idea of what types of machines i had last time, this time will be similar .
PS Also for those who are interested in my little museum project, I am working out a deal in Niagara Falls, but will let you know how it turns out. Ill reveal the location if it is a go. I will be taking off there asap if and when it does go through, and hope to see all your ugly mugs! Naturally, you can come as my guest ( But dont expect me to pay for your hotel or gas!!) I'll make sure to " guilt trip you" at the "gift shop". ( Oops, let the cat out of the bag again)
I will be there...and mention to a few people who would be interested in attending

Maybe you should think about doing the auction at the Toronto Gameroom show, you'll get allot more exposure for all the other people that will be there as well to help with the auction pulling in some more bidders.
Me too! Me too! (can't say how much I'll buy but I sure do love auctions)
EDIT** I'll buy one vid, but only if I can find something I like (when some of you see how much stuff Gerald has in Bowmanville, you'll know why that's funny)
i would love to come, but i'm expecting my first child in the first week of May, so i have this feeling i will be pretty busy...

Thanks for the replies, keep them coming, especially venue ideas
Don't want to steal Nick's thunder, and space may be an issue, so I will talk to him in private, although it is a good idea in principle, probably wont happen though, and I don't blame him, its too close to the time of the show( my fault).
For those who have asked privately about how they go about bidding, all you have to do is :
1) Show up 2) Make a ( Refundable) cash deposit of 100$ to get a bidding card( Which will be credited to any purchases, or refunded if you buy nothing) 3) Bid on what you want 4) Act like seagulls for french fries on a warm summer day in the " free stuff" area( That is, fill your pockets) 5) go crazy on the bids, maybe even spending up to ( gasp) a couple hundred for a dedicated classic 6) Watch all the stuff getting loaded in the parking lot , saying to yourself " I can't believe it sold for that little." 7) Explain to your wife how it was too good a deal to pass up and that you promise to fix the basement , because there is a " good" reason now . 7) email me 20 times asking me to have another auction start at # 1 again
As the newb this will be my first auction and I am very excited to be attending. Hoping to find either my Chase HQ or Continental Circuit cab. I will also have a couple of buddies tag along as well

Yeah, i am up for another GJD auction (since my homeboy Bigwig is going)
I know you like to celebrate my birthday, but a late may auction just for me?! I told you last time, you would have made a mint selling the "free pile" for 2 cents a pound!

I'm not going to speak for Nick, but I can't see how it would be a bad thing from their perspective.
All the auction would do is draw more people to the event which is exactly what they want.

Yes, I see it that way as well, but space is an issue, as well as logistics, and Nick is one of the nicest guys I have met on here, so i don't wan't to put him in a bad spot, i would understand if he couldn't accomodate us, but would be nice, that is for sure.
