There are so many funny styles out there... like Mr. Coupe-Black-Cat/Le Lutin himself, Koi Morris. Very cool guy, and funny as hell to watch play! But man, that guy will need a back brace soon... ouch...
This may sound dumb, but what's a bang back? Is it like a death save? What's the diff?

A bang back is when your ball goes down an outlane, and once it is close to the trough edge of the apron, you activate the opposing flipper and hit hard the front of the cab. The ball then bounces up, hits the back of the activated flipper and it sent onto the other flipper, back in play.
Is there a video of someone pulling this off? I cannot fathom ever doing this. I assume this is the reason why some games have those little bars beneath the flippers.

I used to do the odd bangback, but then I got old and sentimental and now I'm afraid to hurt the pin . This is pretty cool and I think it's something the OPL needs: personality . I vow to at least either impress or scare you guys at least once next season .
OT: Anyone else having choppy youtube embedded vids, but once you click on them and go straight to youtube, they're fine?
I personally think that Colin Horner is the funniest guy to watch play pinball with Koi falling a close second.
The thing with Colin is other then his exubarant playing, there is no reason to pay attention to him, which is why there is very little info on the guy. He has never placed in any division at PAPA and is normal looking, I keep meaning to take a video of this guy playing but never get a chance to do it but it's really funny.
Rick plays strange but the funniest thing is he has the skill to back it up (or he did he may have lost a few steps since his golden age). Alot of the really good players have strange ways of playing.
I always use the example of Lyman Sheets, he has a very unsual style, to look at him and not know who he is, you would think he is a freaking weirdo, but once you see how good he is, your thoughts change to "Does that really work??!!" and you find yourself trying to play like he does

same reason here. i do it every so often when i am playing on location and sometimes that gets me a look or two. did it at the shop a few times to show others and then found them trying to do it. that pissed me off, so i don't try to teach others just cause they will do it to my machines. i think i learned how to do so when i was a pin setter (bowling) back at the end of the 70's and ealry 80's. alley had always one pinball there. i think mostly for the owners to get back my pay for the day. during this time in my life, our little city of TRENTON had six arcades and a few other locations with pins for me to play. i got yelled at more then enough and kicked out a few times for playing too rough. that and my bad language.
