Can someone that has had this machine tell me how this thing is supposed to work? I want to make sure mine is working right. On mine, it revs up and revs down, doesn't really stay on consistently for any long duration of time. Is it meant to for instance, make you feel like a chainsaw is near you or something when the display shows one or whatever?
I just want to be sure it's workin right. It was disconnected when I got the machine home...

Life is like Pinball!! You never know where you will bounce or where your going but sometimes you have that one amazing shot But on the other hand you have those darn gutter ball where you just get frustrated.
It stays opn the longest at the start of multiball during the crypt animation.

Alright cool, thanks guys, I think it's working right. I have to think all the vibrating from that thing causes switches and especially poor solder joints to break regularly?

One other question, regarding the 555 lamp sockets that are mounted above the left/right ramps...
It apperas they are held on not by screws, but by rivets??? I've never messed with rivets before, so:
1. Easiest way to get them off? 2. What do I need to get a new lamp socket installed? Do I buy the rivets from somewhere and need some special tool for it or what?

1. Why would you want to remove the sockets? 2. Rivets need to be drilled. 3. To replace them authentically, you'll need a rivet press. Expensive for 1 restoration. See http://www.pinrestore.com

The socket terminals are really loose and i am not getting good contacts at all with the lamps. Is there another hting I can do to 'fix' that instead of having to replace the socket?
