It seem every time I make a parts order something else goes wrong.  The RPG coil shorted out (Bumper stop came loose) on my T3.  I  just got an order from Marco and I do not want to order from them again.  Where do you order your parts from?  What do you do in a rush?  I was looking at canadianpinballparts but it looks like thier stock is limited.  Any ideas?

thanks,

Lance

P.S the coil is Stern 090-5001-0B(23-800)

I get my stuff mainly from pinballlife.com and mad-amusements.com as a 2nd choice and then the rest.  But I also stock up on common parts since I usually have a semi revolving door of pins.  It's far from perfect but I try to avoid those low item orders.

Pinball Life and Pinball Resource are probably the most cross-border friendly for their shipping practices, from what I have found.

Marco is probably the worst (for North America) and everyone else falls somewhere in between.

Great Plains is also very cross border friendly if you need parts to repair PCB's.

I probably have something that will work if it is the 23-800 part you are worried about. Just make sure you orient the diode properly if there is one on the original and let me know what the Lugs are like (out side - out side, or out side middle) I can give you one.

What do you mean "Bumper Stop"? is that the Coil stop at the end? What does it look like?

Dave

It's a plastic covered long metal screw with a bumper rubber. I think it's to stop the  upper movement of the RPG from hopping. This thing gets hit often and it came loose and shorted out the coil wich blew the fuse.  I replace the fuse and it blew.  Removed the coil and disabled the RPG and all is good til I replace the coil.

Check the diode on the coil, it's probably shorted. it would suck to go through all of that just to findout you could have replaced a 25 cent diode.

Changed the diode and installed the coil.  Blew the fuse so the coil is bad.

I've had great sucess from, Pinball Resource, just make sure you talk to Steve and not the lady, she tends to mix up things, but that being said they also fix the mixups very quickly!@
