One day CPR will make something I actually want to buy, I'm glad there making stuff but they haven't come out with a single plastic set or playfield I could use. I'd love to see a WhiteWater, TZ, Shadow, No Fear, Fish Tales, SOMETHING DMD playfield or plastic set. Enough with all the old crap. On a side note did our very own Meat Popsicle sign up to be a CPR Artist?? http://www.classicplayfields.com/mcarpent1.JPG |

Enough with all the old crap.
They're the only ones making stuff for the "old crap". It's refreshing and I'm delighted that they're doing it. It seems to me that *everyone else* offers stuff for the same old "top ten" DMD machines. IPB, TPF, Marco, BAA, PBL all have a healthy stock of parts for all the machines I don't want. Long live CPR. |

I'd love to see a WhiteWater .... On a side note did our very own Meat Popsicle sign up to be a CPR Artist?? http://www.classicplayfields.com/mcarpent1.JPG
I asked about WH20; after BK they do not want to do a double playfield for a little bit ... for them it is equivalent to making two separate games. After a few single board PF's go out I'm sure they will revisit this. As for other titles I suspect anything with a 3rd party license throws a wrench in the works. Oh and for the the other question ... Yes |

They did WCS94 plastics. I guess thats about it for DMD stuff. But I am glad they have some Sys11 stuff coming. Games like Earthshaker and Highspeed are always beat and worn but they seem to get lost between the DMD collectors and the early SS machines. |

" True, but the other side of the equation is they are the only company doing a good job as well. The only repro playfields to come out, that I know of, other the CPR, have been a huge mess. TAF with colors that are off inserts that are incorrect, AFM with CC issues and the CC seperating from the playfield. FH I didn't hear of any problems but all of these playfields are still without all the proper holes drilled and not dimpled or T-nutted. All which CPR is doing properly which is great for the people getting the fields from CPR but sucks for the rest of us. Yes also there is a plothera of Parts but I'd like to see some playfields, mabye some new plastic sets. "Hmmm... " Yep you heard me right, Old Crap, I don't like them, they don't like me, I'm a child of the 80's never saw a single one of those machines on location ever! Congrats on becoming a CPR artist that's pretty sweet "They did WCS94 plastics. I guess thats about it for DMD stuff." True enough, wonder how the got around the license issues of that one. But my statment still stands wish they would make something I could actually use |

.. man, you are easy to get going! No, I understand where you are coming from. I feel somewhat the same about EMs. I started playing pinball and EMs were being phased out. Perfectly normal. |

Well, I think the new philosophy is that if you can help them produce the artwork, then they are more likely to do it. WCS94 (afaik) was commissioned by a private person. Same with the Mermaid playfield. Black Knight had films/artwork offered by another collector. This is the new approach since Kevin can't vectorize it all, and they seem to have certain 'supply' issues with getting original films sometimes. There is a certain project that I offered to help on, just to see it get going. Its been on the back burner for quite some time. I know Kevin is on board with it as well, but he just does not have the time to vectorize the artwork (and the original films are MIA). But they may have some other people on board for doing this project, so I just wait. And you are right, they are the only ones out there who are making a consistently good playfield/plastics product over and over and over again. The only other person who has a similar track record (and not in playfields) would be phoenixarcade.com. Speaking of phoenixarcade.com.... on of their last blog posts was interesting...
