I just put in new glass for my pins courtesy of Websherpa and I have to say WOW! Websherpa was correct that new glass really makes a huge difference, the games look fantastic yet again. Great service, packaged professionally, good price and Websherpa is a fountain of information which I am sure most of you already know. I just wanted to share this positive business experience with everyone.

If you have scratchy glass, go buy some new glass! What are ya waiting for?

Someone should do a bulk purchase from the US for all of us with scratched to hell pin2k glass.

The problem with the PIN2K glass is that the reflective coating is that it is tapered in intensity as you approach the flipper end of the machine (at least that's my understanding of how it works) which would bea very specialized application of semi-transparent refelctive coating.

By the way, I may not always have glass on hand, but Gorden Horshoe purchasers need not wait until I make a bulk buy, I can supply glass in about a week's turn around time, and can also get custom pieces cut for items like backglasses, odd sized games, etc.

Occasionally I trip up to Belleville are and am accessible as far east as Kingston, ON - and even on some occasions (although less these days) I will make it all the way up to Ottawa and Gatineau.

Yes, there is a transition in tinting on the PIN2K machine glass.

If we could find a good tinter (assuming they could tint it correctly - with the transition), then it would be possible to reproduce PIN2k glass.  I would assume cost would be at least double (due to the price of bulk tinting).

If anyone can successfully reproduce Pin2K glass, I would be interested.

Thanks.
