A friend of mine is looking for a 1976 AMI Navajo schematic and is not having any luck sourcing one.  Trouble being that the Game was made in Italy, although it is basically a Gottlieb clone with Gottlieb design on the parts.  So far anything it has needed has been interchangeable with a Gottlieb equivalent.

Anyways the reason I'm posting here is to hope to hit a wider range of people as apparently this machine may be one of two surviving examples????It's not your standard request and probably be a pretty tough find.

Anyways if anyone has one or knows where to source one that would be great.

Here's the link to the EM machine from the IPDB in case you were curious.

Hi:

I would have your friend contact Federico Croci at wiz@tilt.it. He is in Italy and I have purchased a schematic from him for a Zaccaria Circus that I could not source through the usual North American channels. It wasn't cheap but it sure helped. If the email address is out of date he also has a website at http://www.tilt.it/flipper_pinball/

Chris

EM Pinball Guy.

Own: Surf Champ, Lady Luck (Recel), 1934 Bally Fleet (Jr), Gtb Register, Four Million BC, Sure Shot, Jungle Queen, 4 Square, Little Chief, On Beam, Rocket III, Sinbad (my first SS machine), Brite Star, Monte Carlo, Cleopatra, Subway, Aladdin's Castle, Bow & Arrow.

Sold, Traded: Jacks Open, Seven Up, Strato-Flite, Magnotron, Mustang, Hang Glider, Monaco, High Hand, Out of Sight, Toledo, Zaccaria Circus, Top Speed (barn find), Shoot the Moon, Bank-a-Ball, Nip It, Big Brave, Pioneer, losing track of them all.

Greatest joy (as far as pinball goes anyway): Bringing a piece of cast-off junk back to life.

Thanks Chris I'll pass on the information, but he may have seen it as I believe he has joined our forum.

According to my friend that's looking for the schematic,

"Federico was the first person I contacted.  The irony of this game is that it is a replay game, thus making it illegal in Italy.  Federico said he had never seen one nor did he have any idea on paperwork."

Thanks again Chris for trying.......this isn't going to be easy.

Again all input on sourcing this is welcome.

Did your friend also search for the 1-player AMI Big Hunt schematics ?
(it should be very similar for the most part).

Depending on what the issue is/are, given AMI is Gottlieb-based,
a Gottlieb EM pinball schematics for a 1976 2-player replay-based
game might just be the ticket...

Did he try to contact John Robertson at http://www.flippers.com also ?

Good luck !

Cheers,
- Sylvain.

Looking for 1966 Bally Capersville, 1967 Bally The Wiggler, 1981 Stern Viper, 1986 Pinstar Gamatron,
1986 Williams Grand Lizard, 1991 Williams Bride of Pinbot, and a few others.
Cash or some trades available. Could also repair a machine of yours +/-$ if needed, in exchange for
one machine on my want list, non-working/unshopped welcome!
