Tom does it himself and he does great work, too.

Now if only I could convince him to touch-up my Lectronamo backglass...

I will try to post the whole process in the next couple of days.

QUESTION, these playfields do not require any mylars and will play fast and look great with just some new hole protectors from Kerry Stair.
If you had a playfield protected by these coatings would you put the mylars back on ?

I have always been under the impression that with home use, a clear coated machine will never need mylars.

If you have any ball drops, I would still put a small square of mylar there anyhow, but other than that, no it shouldn't be needed for home use.

I wouldn't either. I have maybe done 12-15 clearcoats in the past 5 years, some I added mylar back onto, and some I didn't. My AC/DC pin for example, has no mylar around the pops, or drops, and has seen extensive use here at home ... (it's one of the only pins that gets played around here anymore) .. I don't know how many games are on it since I didn't write any audits into the s/w (lazy) ... but enough that it needs a shop job already.
There is no visable scratches, dimples or wear of any kind in these area's.
