I was always under the impression MacPhreak was the creator and Sparky was refered to as the monster. You should see him in action trying to see if children float.

on a more serious note, I do understand where the OP is coming from.. but I don't know if those rules really apply. The forum is still fairly small, so it's somewhat a tight-knit community (whether you like the person next to you or not), and for the most part I think we all enjoy eachother's quips, whether they add something to the relevance of the thread or not.
It's also a double-edge sword though.. as that forum mentality has all but killed CGCC (I hate to say), because it keeps lurkers from participating more.. so new members are few and far between.
I also don't think we should skold the fellow for sharing his / her comments, because that also scares new members away.
