Looks kinda cool actually... Could be a sleeper (success) for Stern. Not the same hype as IJ or TDK, ...so maybe reduced expectation and higher likelihood of pleasant surprises... One to watch (...the pin, not the show... ) Steph |

Any idea what that round circular feature is? Something simulating a centrifugal lab equipment?
Could be neat. What I'm slowly learning is that software makes a huge difference in all games from the ruleset, sound and visuals. Hopefully, they find the time & motivation to do a good job.

I think it looks pretty fun so far! The ball spinner toy looks like good use of an older technology |

My guess is it will be an exact rip off of the POTC spinner.
This game doesn't instill confidence, I'm thinking it looks like it is going to be another IJ4 from a rules perspective based on the inserts. The inserts on the center of the playfield are lined up exactly the same as IJ4. Showing progression for the amount of time you hit each item, just like IJ4 and we all know how everyone loves IJ4 :/
I'll withold judgment till I actually play one but again like I said the last time I saw pics, it doesn't instill any confidence in me. |

Game looks cool. I'm just wondering how badly they will screw it up. I have lost all faith in Stern since the release of TDK. The game looks awesome and could be sooooo good if they would just tweak the rules.
Fingers are crossed, for this title. I absolutely love Shrek/Family Guy and it seems like a nice balance for the pinball novice and pro. The rules are fairly straight forward, not super deep, but still enough to keep the player amused. I like how a newbie can accidently start MB by either hitting the drop targets or just hitting the magic mirror/can. It's the first game I could easily explain to my 6 year old. He loves the mini-playfield and I explained how to lite it by hitting the captive ball to spell pinball. He's now hooked on it.
If they can do it with Shrek/FG, let's hope they can do it with CSI, but I'm not convinced. I cann't believe how badly they screwed up TDK.

I love CSI - greatest show on TV right now IMHO. I'm gonna buy this pin for the translite alone! (OK that was sarcastic but the rest is sincere). |
