I want to "spruce up" the legs on my machine.  I got this from the web:

-Dupli-color DS GM 344 Gunmetal MC
-GM#318
-Plasticote#1006 Chrysler Charcoal grey metallic
-Premium Rust-Oleum Hammered spray paint dark grey

Anyone ever used any of these for legs and if so how did it turn out?  Lastly, any other ideas or recommendations?

tks

I'm pretty sure i've used the GM code. Not sure of the number, I'll check at home. Turned out great! I think you can see them on my Eight Ball project in the Projects section.

I remember your machine and checked it again, it is a great job and you are right about the legs they look awsome.

I used this stuff on a set of bally legs once. Looks really nice. The trick is to wire brush off as much rust/crap as possible before spraying.

Thanks!

Forgot to mention, I rattle canned some 3m Clear on the legs after painting them. I also sandblasted prior to painting.

Glenn (mrniceguy) did my HG legs with the Premium Rust-Oleum Hammered spray paint . It does a really nice job . Everybody that see it are asking me about it . I ' ve used the same stuff on my farfalla legs . That ' s the way to go , my opinion ...

BTW , Age , i realise someone beats me as the senior citizen on MAACA ...
