What did the final bill end up being for the touchup and clearcoat job?
Currently Owning: Vids- Road Blasters, Road Runner, Joust, Golden Tee 2005 Pins- Back to the Future, Theatre of Magic, Joker Poker, Grand Tour, Hyperball
Previously Owned: Vids- Far too many to list Pins- High Speedx2, The Shadow, Mystic.
Thanks everyone, yea I can't believe how nice it turned out.
Final Bill was a bit more then I was hoping for....
$750 US for touchup and clear coat + shipping, I was fine with that.
It was the $250 bill I got today for GST/PST and brokrage charges (God Dam UPS!!) that I wasn't expecting. All in all I'm still happy, I think end of the day I paid close to $1100 with shipping and all taxes, still cheaper then NOS and I don't have to deal with dimpling and drilling and clearcoat.
Whats that Shap pain in my back Oh it's a Knife Complete MAACA-Wacko!

Wow Amazing job looks nice
Life is like Pinball!! You never know where you will bounce or where your going but sometimes you have that one amazing shot But on the other hand you have those darn gutter ball where you just get frustrated.
Wow that's amazing. It must take quite awhile and alot of patience to have to be super anal, because any flaw will show to a collector/pinball freak.
If you look REALLY closely, and I mean like you have to be an inch away from the playfield, you can see where things have been touched up. But looking at it installed you would never be able to tell.
When I get this things back in one piece I'm going to have to have an unvailing party or something.
- 11 months - what I consider to be minor damage (remember, I deal with mostly 25-30 year old SS pins) - cost of 1100$?
I was considering having it done on a couple of my pins, but that locks it for me... no thanks. I guess it is because they do go crazy and even retouch the bare wood areas...
