Yes stupid in my view.  I see they are cost cutting but the price doesn't reflect it.  I guess IM will be my last new Stern since I said if they do any more cost cutting I will not be buying.  Did you hear the new cost cutting from Stern---Wait for it

That lock down setup is ridiculous...  It's too bad there aren't enough customers to complain about it and have Stern go back to the old setup.

You shouldn't have to.  You pay a nice $$$ amount for the machine and then you have to get parts just to make usable.  I put the sliders in my IM and I am still pissed about it.

Hmmm... would look better with LEDs me think....a splash more neon / glow in the dark would be an appropriate mod.  If I could have a "First" NIB game... this "might" be it.  Especially if it turns out to be a dog like WPT and I can get it for less than $3k....
