For those in the Toronto area there is a new Shrek in Union Station (in since the weekend)..

haven't had a chance to play it (but I will be doing so at lunch today)

So Steve and I played a total of 8 games in about an hour.

The game at Union is fast .. has the black rubbers .. unfortunately this caused 3 or 4 jumps over the slings that lost the ball (I think I've seen it a couple of times in FG but in many more games) .. as well the "Donkey Pinball" ended 50% time on balls jumping the flippers and getting stuck in behind.

Game play is identical to FG but the speech is much more family oriented (which should please some .. I think I remember Medvet mentioning it among others).

Cameron Diaz's voice is not on the game (at least through all the modes and such we didn't hear it) but Mike Myers and Eddie Murphy are there and both deliver decent lines through out the game.

Actually donkey has a diatribe about redesigning the "donkey pinball" playfield which is pretty amusing (although fairly long).

So no big surpirses .. it will be interesting to see how this one sells.
