Please let me know where they can be had for that amount, I will buy one. They sell locally for $2600 and up and this one is supposedly HUO.

Yup, way too much, and by locally, not exactly around the corner but I've seen lots just under the border, cross up here and some people think they're worth a grand more for some reason...sure, if you wanna waste more money.

On Mr pinball today

Star Trek The Next Generation, 1993 Williams:  2500.00
This game plays and looks great. The playfield looks great as does the translite and display. The cabinet has some usual battle scars but nothing too bad. Very nice machine overall. Laser cannons installed. Cash at pickup, scammers need not bother.

Why was this posted? Everyone here is quite capable of subscribing to Mr. Pinball. The pin isn't a good deal, isn't rare, and isn't even in Canada!

Playdium has one, apparently great shape, will be done soon, $3,000 - not a deal, but is there if anyone is interested.  I hate Star Trek (tv shows), so no matter how good this game is, I couldn't own it.

I used to think the same, but it is a solid game.  I did end up owning one but it left for a 'greater' deal.

I still miss mine (every day).  Not that I want to push its popularity, some people hate it.  For me personally it was the theme.  One day I'll complete my Sci Fi "Star" Holy Trinity: STTNG, Starship Troopers, Stargate (and maybe Lost in Space ... but it doesn't contain the word "Star" in the title....)

You know, for $3K fully shopped out by someone reputable I think it would be worth it. The thing is, from Starburst you are lucky if it gets a wipedown and a few lamps replaced.

So, dont think paying 10% above the local value is a bad deal, provided you actually get something for your money. Who knows, maybe if you are specific with Starburst on what is done to prep the machine maybe you will actually get some value for the retail markup.

I thought, considering their other prices, this was actually fairly well priced as well, for a company.  Makes me wonder though what shape is actually in, as I wasn't able to see it yet.  Who knows, anyway, its there for anyone with $3,500-$4,500 to blow on it

I wasn't too fussy about the BG myself, but I read all about how great of a player this game was. I got a chance to play ME's ST;TNG a couple of weeks ago, and I loved it! It is now on my wish list

Funny, I don't find myself looking at the back glass much when I'm PLAYING my game.  

I'm getting my STTNG very soon. I purchased it a couple months ago and have yet to even play a ball on it! Played it in Allentown (hard place to really get to know a game) and I'm really looking forward to hours of frustration (outlane hell I'm told). I personally dig the theme so no need to play with the head folded.

I did have a collector tell me there are only two shots on this machine and that I will tire of it within two months. I hope not.

BTW will someone please buy/trade some games with me....I'm bubbling over. Looks like Swords Of Fury is in my possession soon too if anyone is interested. I'm really in a trade 2, 3, 4 games for 1 kinda mood these days.

I don't know what two shots that person is talking about but there are lots of viable strategies for points on this game, none of which just involve two shots.  There is no one item that really over powers the game entirely and I find it quite balanced in the scoring.

Nonesense! There is alot more to the game than two shots. It's a blast to play. Great game, awesome rules, and very challenging for mortal players like me

I remember seeing a TAF in the back that they were asking $4500 for a few months ago that had a beat cabinet and really dirty looking playfield. More power to them I guess.
